Well, we did it again. It just isn't working for our family. There is so much garbage on there, and we have more fun making music, playing games, and reading. Some people say they are going to be exposed to it anyway, so why shelter them? Our thinking is, yes, they will be exposed to everything at some point in their lives, but why should that happen in our home where they should feel safe?
One thing we've enjoyed since our oldest was little is, Friday night family movies. My awesome sister and brother-in-law got us a 6 month-unlimited (2 at a time) Netflix subscription for Christmas! We will now enjoy movie night up in our bedroom with the kids, being the other TV is gone, once again.
