Nope, no vaccines for our little family. Yes, the flu is yucky and not fun, but there are natural ways to treat the symptoms if you do get it. Plus, getting the vaccine doesn't guarantee that you won't still get sick. Rather than put weak germs in my body I want to build up my immune system to be able to fight disease itself. (Plus, my kiddos freak out if I mention shots. :))
Prbly neither b/c I just never really did that...much. Actually, I did get a flu shot this year during my pregnancy sometime...can't remember when. I just did it b/c it was offered for free...eh, why not. I see Robert's pov though...makes sense, totally. Mostly, I just don't want to have to pay for it...if we get it, we get it...and we deal with it. Although I really hope we don't get either!
nope, won't be doing it. got the flu mist for leigha, and regret regret regret it b/c i think that is why she has been home from school for 3 days. have also heard that you can refuse the h1n1 shot (military) and just have to sign a paper stating they chose not to have it. we'll see if it works for steve here.
