Summertime is a bad time for us meal-wise. Our family schedule is very lax and we travel a lot, so we really don't plan for meals more than a day in advance. My goal this school year is to plan our meals one week in advance and go to the commissary on Sunday to get the groceries for the upcoming week. I also give each one of our family members a choice on what we eat. On their night, they help prepare and cook the meal with me or my husband. At lunch we usually eat a sandwich, salad, or soup so those items are always stocked in the kitchen and are on our grocery list. Here is our meal plan for this week!
Monday: Make your own salad w/caprese
Tuesday: Spinach-Artichoke Naan
Wednesday: Sloppy Joes with pasta salad, chips, and salsa.
Thursday: Homemade barley and veggie soup
Friday: Pizza Night
Saturday: Chicken and veggie shish kabobs with garlic couscous
Sunday: Roast with veggies in the crockpot
