ABC's of Homemaking

I read this on Momma In Flip Flop's blog. Let me know if you do this on your blog, I'd love to read it!

Aprons - Y/N? If yes, what does your favorite look like?
I have 4 aprons. My two favorites are from my sisters. My youngest sister made me one for Christmas last year, and my oldest sister bought me one at Paula Deen's restaurant in Savannah, GA. Both came by total suprise!

Baking- Favorite thing to bake?
I'm not a good baker at all. I don't measure, so things don't always turn out. I do like to make homemade bread and buns, but that only happens 2-3 times a year.

Clothes line - Y/N?
Growing up we had one, and I despised it! I would love to have one now, especially for the cloth diapers.

Donuts?
No, and I don't plan on making them. My grandmas used to make them, though.

Everyday - One homemaking thing you do everyday.
The dishes. I don't mind loading the dishwasher, but unloading isn't my favorite task in the world.

Freezer - Do you use a deep freeze?
No, but maybe we'll get one for Christmas. They are so nice to have!

Garbage Disposer Y/N?
Yes, our house came with one. It recently chewed up a dime.

Handbook - What's your favorite homemaking resource?
Bible and blogs

Ironing - Love it or Hate it?
My husband is much better at ironing than I.

Junk Drawer - Y/N? If yes, where is it?
Yes. It is located in the kitchen, but is currently on the floor next to me. We are moving in 5 days, and I need to clean it out before we move so it doesn't get transferred to our next house's junk drawer.

Kitchen - color & decorating scheme.
No theme, just lots of fall colors.

Love - what is your favorite part of homemaking?
Making my family happy and fulfilled.

Mop - Y/N?
I Swiffer Wet Jet, and occasionally get on my hands and knees.

Nylons, machine or hand wash?
Neither, I like to show off my snow white Scandinavian legs!

Oven - Do you use the window or open the oven to check?
I open the oven, because the oven light is smashed out (don't ask).

Pizza - what do you put on yours?
I like everything, but we get 1/2 and 1/2 because my man likes pepperoni w/jalapenos.

Quiet - what do you do during the day when you get a quiet moment?
Catch up on blog reading, emails, and my Beth Moore study.

Recipe Card Box - Y/N?
It is a lovely Longaberger, and it is filled with meal seasoning packets.

Style of house - what style is your house?
A picture of our new house is here!

Tablecloths and napkins?
Both, but only on special occasions.

Under the kitchen sink - organized or toxic wasteland?
Organized for the most part. It houses indoor gardening things, potatoes and onions, and hand towels and washcloths.

Vacuum - how many times per week?
5 or so.

Wash - how many loads of laundry do you do per week?
10-12 on average.

Do you keep a daily list of things to do that you cross off?
Usually. I love lists!

Yard - Who does what?
My man does most of it, but I love it too!

What is your last homemaking task for the day before going to bed?
Whisper prayers over the three sprouts, kisses, and hugs...check the doors and windows to see if they are locked.

I feel like I haven't stopped by here in forever! If I ever stop blog slacking, I'd love to participate in the ABCs of Homemaking! This is so weird, but we close on our new house on Wednesday! What is that like two days before you?
